Nurses Ministry
Mission Statement/Motto: John 9: 4-5: I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
Note: The Riceville Nurse Ministry was first organized in 1962 under Pastor C. L. Miller. The President of the Nurse Ministry at that time was Sister Almeda McGee Jackson. To join, you do not need to be a nurse, but a caring person who wants to help others.
Community Service:
We do blood pressure screenings every Sunday after the 8:00am and 11:00am services
Current Medical/Health Information is displayed in the church lobby on various health topics (H1N1 virus , Diabetes, Cancer, etc)
For Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, current info is displayed for the entire month of October
There is a first aid room which is equipped with Oxygen, First aid kit, a wheel chair
